POLICY DEVELOPMENT

In addition to resource consent matters the Company is active in policy development.

This includes plan change and district plan processes from initial client advice on the implications of the documents through to lodging original submissions, further submissions, Council hearing process and the presentation of evidence to the Environment Court.

Attending the Environment Court is also a function of the company with regard to resource consent applications as well as evidence before the High Court.

WE HAVE YOU COVERED FOR RESOURCE CONSENTS

HOW WAS BAYPLAN INVOLVED?

The FNDC has recently released its Draft District Plan. We have assisted a number of clients with feedback on this document along with feedback on the identification of Significant Natural Areas.

This Draft document is the precursor to the Proposed District Plan which once publicly notified will have legal effect. Our past involvement within the statutory process of developing what is the current District Plan has created a wealth of experience in supporting clients with submissions to the new Proposed District Plan. We can provide advice and assistance on how the new planning document may affect your property.
